Getting Started

Install your Kali Linux and Windows into Virtual Machines

You first want to set up your virtual hacking machines if you have not already done so. This will allow you to revert back to any snapshot you have created regardless of the last state it was in. We will be installing two separate operating systems in these tutorials, Windows 7 and Kali Linux. I chose Windows 7 but any Windows 7 or higher will work. Kali Linux is a Debian-derived Linux distribution that comes by default with a majority of the hacking tools we will be using.
